Discover Prince Of Punjab

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine in Berlin, look no further than Prince of Punjab. Nestled at Sigmaringer Str. 36, 10713 Berlin, this vibrant eatery brings the rich, diverse flavors of India straight to your plate. From its welcoming ambiance to its exceptional menu, this restaurant offers a dining experience that feels both personal and professional.

As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm, inviting atmosphere typical of Indian restaurants. The décor blends traditional elements with a modern touch, creating a cozy, yet refined space. Whether you're seated by the window or near the colorful artwork on the walls, you’re sure to feel at home. The attentive staff at Prince of Punjab ensures that every guest feels cared for, providing service that’s both friendly and professional.

What truly sets this place apart is the food. The menu at Prince of Punjab is a celebration of authentic Punjabi cuisine. Known for its bold flavors and aromatic spices, the dishes here are crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty curry, tender tandoori, or something light like a flavorful biryani, there’s something for everyone.

One dish that particularly stands out is their Butter Chicken, a rich and creamy delight that’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The chicken is perfectly marinated and cooked to tender perfection, with just the right balance of spices. For those who enjoy a bit more heat, the Lamb Vindaloo is a must-try. It’s fiery and flavorful, with the kind of deep spiciness that’s both satisfying and comforting.

Vegetarians will also find plenty to love on the menu. The Aloo Gobi, a traditional dish made with spiced cauliflower and potatoes, is a great choice for those looking for something light but flavorful. If you're after something richer, try the Paneer Tikka Masala, a smooth, creamy sauce enveloping the grilled paneer. The combination of textures and flavors in these vegetarian dishes is truly impressive.

Not to be missed is the extensive selection of Indian breads. From naan to paratha, the breads are soft, fresh, and the perfect accompaniment to any curry. The Garlic Naan pairs wonderfully with the creamy Dal Makhani, a lentil dish that's as comforting as it is satisfying. You’ll also find a variety of rice dishes, with the Biryani standing out as a favorite for its aromatic flavors and tender meat.

The drinks menu at Prince of Punjab is equally impressive. Their selection of Indian beers pairs beautifully with the spicy dishes, and if you’re looking for something non-alcoholic, the mango lassi is a refreshing choice. It's sweet, tangy, and provides a cooling contrast to the heat of the food.

What makes Prince of Punjab a standout in Berlin is not just the food, but the experience it offers. The chefs here take immense pride in their craft, and you can taste that in every bite. The dishes are authentic and prepared with an attention to detail that shows. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Indian food or new to the cuisine, you’ll find something to savor.

The restaurant is also a great spot for special occasions. With its cozy ambiance and diverse menu, it's perfect for family gatherings, date nights, or even casual dinners with friends. The staff is accommodating, ensuring that your dining experience is memorable from start to finish.

The restaurant has garnered positive reviews from both locals and visitors, all praising the quality of the food and the level of service. The ability to create such authentic flavors in the heart of Berlin has made Prince of Punjab a beloved spot for Indian food enthusiasts. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, you’re in for a treat.

In summary, if you're in Berlin and craving authentic Punjabi food, Prince of Punjab is the place to go. With its delicious dishes, warm atmosphere, and excellent service, it offers an experience that’s hard to beat. From the first bite to the last, you’ll be transported to India with every mouthful.

  • The food is really great! They even have some specials for weekend. The Amritsari Chole kulcha is amazing and very authentic. The service is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful ambiance! The collection of photos brings back a very retro India only seen in movies and museums. They have 1 rupees notes and nataraja statues which all add to the ambience! My only gripe with the place is less vegetarian options which is not a bad thing if you are a non-vegetarian and the vegetarian options that exist are amazing!

  • If you‘re in to Indian food this is the place to go! The most authentic I‘ve so far tried here in Berlin. Staff is super friendly and the food is one of a kind. Great monthly specials, tap beer, top wines and dishes from mild to spicy af. The location is cute and in a quiet neighborhood. Make sure to come here first before trying any other Indian restaurant. But be careful there‘s a good chance you‘ll become a regular.

  • Really enjoyed the friendly service, the good combination of food, and the whole atomsphere. The decorations are nice and the music is caming and pleasant. I like how they creatively combine different dishes in one menu and the food quality was good. Recommend!

  • A small restaurant with limited seating capacity and simple in looks. We very soon found why it is highly rated. One the service is good and fast and two the food is delicious. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. Dishes, both vegetarian and non vegetarian are delicious and served with rice or nan.

  • Cozy resteraunt. Friendly waiters. Chilly cheese naan, butter chicken and lentils curry. Really good comfort food. Lamb chops were a little too strong(lamby, gamey) for my taste, but the curry was good though. A little pricey but that's ok I guess. It's more of a treat than an everyday eatery.

  • The prices here are high but the food is excellent. The samosa chaat was one samosa but the tamarind chutney was so good. The palak paneer and chicken curry that we ordered were also very very tasty. The portions are not large but they’re good enough. The service is great, and I will definitely come back to try other things on the menu, when willing to pay 20-30 per head. I’m happy to see an Indian restaurant that serves freshly prepared, extremely tasty, delicate food, and I’m happy to also occasionally pay for it.

  • Nice ambience, spacious, neat and clean. The most important of all is the Indian food. The grill and tandoor items are good here. I was alone so could not try too many dishes but whatever I tasted was nice. Connectivity wise it's okay, you have the U7 line nearby. The staff was friendly and well behaved. Overall a nice Indian dining place. Hope to go there again in a group to try some more stuffs they have in their menu.
